My residency in Italy at @LaMacinadisancresci was nourishing in many ways. It was the best of times with my daughter. We visited small Tuscan towns, sketched together and walked by vineyards and of course tasted the amazing Chianti wines. We even took woodcarving classes from a charismatic artist Alessandro Nutini. oh and Mimma and Duccio! the founders – charming, wise and one of the most adventurous people – so glad to have known them.
