Theater

A Foggy Night A theater play written by Belgin Yucelen and Debra Rosenberg. I started thinking about Foggy Night a few years ago. the play is about characters one can encounter in big cities. since last spring, I have sat in parks or cafes in various cities including Paris, Mexico City and Istanbul to observe people to see if I could find some certain characters that repeat themselves independent of time and place.

SYNOPSIS  The various characters who walk under the streetlights at night are people one can encounter in any city, at any time. They seem to be unaware of each other. We hear their thoughts through an array of memories or confessions. A heavy fog slowly settles into the streets. It changes the way they see. Some want to keep their stories, some look for new ways for who they can be.
