Monotypes
Monotype is an amazing method for me because it allows me to convey my ideas in an immediate fashion. Still there are surprises which are associated with the texture of the paper, ink itself and the variations in the printing itself. The story behind these images can only be interpreted and not told in words.
Floating Tales / Allegories Series
These are prints of imaginary people with no definite time and place.
“Overwritten Scripts” emphasizes the inequality that exists based on socio-cultural norms rather than Islamic principles. The descriptions of each print can be found in the digital portfolio of the series.
To Moon Series
During the summer of 2018, I created one small monoprint every morning. The result is the series “To Moon”.
